Visit Greenwich looking for dynamic chair to push tourism boom

VISIT Greenwich is seeking a dynamic chair to capitalise upon the royal borough’s tourism boom.

In the past four years, the value of tourism in Greenwich has risen by 31% and new plans have been developed to capitalise further with significant investment available.

The ideal candidate will understand the sector and know London well. They will be someone who can help drive the Greenwich agenda across tourism, culture, skills and creative industries.

The role will be to lead the board, executive team, open doors for new funding opportunities and manage relationships with its main stakeholder, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and its 150 commercial partners.

The role will be for 2 days per month and a suitable expense scheme and honorarium can be agreed.

Candidates should send a short cover letter outlining their credentials and a biography by email by February 14.

For an informal discussion please contact Barrie Kelly.
