E-business programme
Free help for micro and SME businesses.
Local London’s E-business programme provides free face-to-face support and advice for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By learning how to make best use of digital technology, businesses are harnessing the power of online marketing and streamlining processes to grow their businesses.
Local businesses are signing up and seeing their reach and customer base grow, increasing sales and revenue. Our E-business programme is safeguarding jobs, and even helping some businesses take on more employees. In short, the tailored advice and support offered by our three partners (below) is helping hundreds of local businesses use digital technologies to give them a brighter long-term future.
Benefits for local businesses
The programme is fully funded, making it free for business owners, and can help local businesses with fewer than 250 employees, and have been trading for 6 months or more:
- Build a strong online presence.
- Strengthen their business’s cyber-security and data storage.
- Streamline their processes.

Why supporting small businesses matters
There are around 100,000 businesses with fewer than 50 employees across our boroughs. Only around 55% will make it past 3 years of trading. The E-business programme is aiming to help businesses in our sub-region to become more financially resilient.
